I was drawn to this book because of its focus on overcoming betrayal and finding strength after a difficult marriage. The story follows Bailey as she navigates the aftermath of infidelity and psychological abuse. It is a raw and emotional look at a painful experience that many people can relate to. "C"

This statement was my OH YEAH moment "I never answer the question “how are you doing?” the same way twice" , it changes every day. This book reminded me that’s okay. You have to forgive yourself and understand that each day is a new chance to begin again.
The author is honest and real about what it means to grieve what you’ve lost, and she reminds you that sadness and anger are just part of the journey — there truly is light at the end of the tunnel.
This book is very faith-based, and the reflection activities at the end of each chapter really make you stop and think. It feels like taking advice from a friend who understands, not just from someone preaching at you.

I found the book, Choosing Better, Not Bitter to be a heartfelt, healing companion for anyone rebuilding life after heartbreak. Whether it’s through a death, a divorce, a parting of ways, or a betrayal, it’s all too easy to become embittered as I have found.
But with this book? Bailey Clay and a chorus of courageous women share real, unfiltered stories of love, loss, and rediscovery—each testimony reminding readers that pain doesn’t have to define the future. What makes this book special is its blend of raw honesty and gentle empowerment.
More than a memoir, this book is a roadmap for choosing growth over resentment, hope over heartbreak. Choosing Better, Not Bitter will resonate deeply with anyone ready to let go of the past and embrace the healing power of new beginnings.

Hats off to any author who can share their personal stories to help others. I feel that reading the story will help others find comfort in that they are not alone. It is a good reminder to find comfort in something, whether it is God, or something else. It is important to heal and move forward when life doesn't go as planned. Brave author! Mrs. J
